About to be a G35 owner :]
So over the last month or two, ive finally found two perfect G35's that are in my price range. So tomorrow, im going to take a look at both again, and ill be coming home with a G35.
Still stuck between the two though. Unfortunately, both are 5AT, since the only 6MT's ive found throughout my searching have been beaten to hell and were in poor condition/high miles.
Unfortunately they both dont have the spoiler either, which is a plus in my book, but i wont make my decision based upon that alone.
My choices are the following.
This 2004 G35, with 71K miles, for $14,700.
Completely standard, no leather/sunroof/bose audio/heated seats/etc.. which is the downside.
Despite missing those features, this thing is in absolutely perfect condition. Not a scratch on it, and drives tight and as if it were new. Out of the 8-9 ive driven, this is the nicest. I'm also in love with the color of this car, so nice in person.
The other is a 2003 G35 with 65k miles, for $14,400.
Premium package, including leather seats/moonroof/bose audio/heated seats/etc. However it has some wear and tear on it, scratches and scuffs here and there. The suspension seems slightly more worn out, as are the tires. I also dont love the stock grey paint, but its whatever.
So which do you guys think i should go for? They both are 1-owner and accident free, but the blue one has no service records reported on the carfax. Not sure if theyre just not on there, or if its never been serviced ... guess ill find out tomorrow when i see it again. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Just from reading the thread, you seem to like the blue one better...
I'll be a G owner next weekend. Getting an '03 that already has intake, header, exhaust, under drive pullies, throttle body spacer, lowered on some 19s... Gettin' it for 10,700... only down fall is that is has 155k on the odometer but it runs and drives like new.... I'm not too worried about the mileage b/c I'm know how to turn wrenches if the need arises.. I have a fully built and boosted Civic and it's always needing a wrench turned on it lol...

Well i do like it more cosmetically, but im not sure about when/how often its been serviced. The grey one has all the premium features and a long history of services every 6 months at dealerships, so im not sure.
Normally i wouldnt care and id go for the blue, since dad being a mechanic for 25 years and did all my work for me. He recently passed away though so now im on my own as far as fixing it. The guy at the dealership selling it also doesnt know much about cars so he cant say much about it. He also said he replaced the brakes, and doesnt know if theyre still brembo -_- which is one of the main reasons i want an 03/04 over an 05.

I suggest just waiting and keep on searching for another G. You'll probably find the color you want with all the goods in there (leather, sunroof, sport package, etc). If you really like that blue, then search for a blue one but with a better package.
