Clearance Stip Lights

I tried changing my clearance strip bulb to an led one to make it light up more/look better. I bought blue led ones and installed them, but they're not that bright/light up the whole strip.

Here's waht they look like:

As you see, it doesn't light up the whole strip like I wanted it to. It honestly just looks like the stock bulb that in blue. The led itself is super bright, like when I tested it to see if it worked before putting it in, it nearly blinded me.

I wanted it to look like this:

but idk what else do I need to do? Any help?

Nevermind. I just checked them out again now since its darker/night, and it looks filled/brighter. Although once I actually put my headlights on, they kind of blend in/fade away.

I wish they'd be brighter so they'd stand out more with lights but oh well.

****ty iphone pics i know:

I've seen it on a DG before in real life thought it looked really good.

I did away with the clearance light all together. Just left the bulbs out, it looks a lot better IMO.

Any pictures of your clearance strip before you switched bulbs? I'm curious as to how yellow they were. I'm looking to do this switch myself and planned on going with 5000k White LEDS however I'm afraid it may be a bit to yellow for my liking due to sun staining. What type of LEDS did you use to get them that blue? I'm curious if I got them bright enough if the bluer LEDS (or even a really bright white LED) could overcompensate for the yellow strip.

Here's an old pic of the stock ones.

I bought the leds from ebay. I just searched for blue leds and the bulb/part number that fit our clearance strip. When I tested them out (not in the clearance strip), they were super bright, but they're not as bright as they should be when in the clearance strip. I guess the way they're positioned or something. And not sre what you mean about the yellow strip? Are you saying your headlights are fogged/yellow?
