Update, got the two layers of blue done on the gauges. Its really light blue. Since I finished it after dark I decided to just sit the pod on my dash until tomorrow so I can see it with sunlight.
I'm pretty sure I'll add one more layer. I will take pics before I change anything though, so people can compare blues and see what they want. I did 4 layers, now 2, maybe 3. We'll see.
Will post pics soon.

1) Oh.
2) Yeah, I read that. Push past the point of resistance doesn't help me though. I'm pretty sure I broke the tach. The needle moves backward instead of forward. I'm going to replace it with the one I stripped out of an automatic. I hope its the same thing. The other needles all work great, and I didn't treat the tach any different. So I'm guessing that is all there is to do.
Will update.
Thanks for your help.

I think I changed my mind about the tint. The problem with tint is that it allows less light from shining through, this is good to a certain extent, but not good for daylight driving. What I'm thinking is that it would be good to go with a combined approach and do bulbs and one layer of gauge tint to secure a deeper blue and to darken the display and even out the light transmission.
Accord, Another question. Can you post a link, or just send me in the direction for the gauge bulbs in blue. I would appreciate it.
Thanks again.
