First Mods?

What do you guys think, or what is the first thing i should do to my G? A couple of my friends said an exhaust and some said an intake. They both gave me their reasons, but i wanna hear it from other G owners out there.

Also, when posting your options or reasons, what do you have on yours?

What year is your car? 6MT or 5AT? Budget? Going for looks or performance?

Tint should be the first thing you do. If you're 5AT, get the motordyne plenum spacer and a grounding kit. If you're 6MT, get the spacer and mrev2.

Most of my mods are in my sig, the rest are listed in my garage: https://g35driver.com/forums/garage/...ilencer_0.html

6MT = Manual

Tint, clear corners, rims... thats all you need for looks. Then start with performance or audio.

I bought the car and found out it was lowered on its springs, so saturday im buying an Eibach Rear Pro - Alignment Kit, getting my camber fixed and an alignment. Im not too worried about audio right now, so i guess that leaves performance.

So your set for looks unless you want to change that body kit. Just get some clear corners. That orange hurts my eyes.

And tint. Forgot that.

nice rims but idk about that gtr bodykit. it really only works if you got the power to back it up and you won't unless you are FI (turboed or supercharged). anyway intake wont do much but sound. get hfc/tp, plenum spacer, exhaust and a tune. dont bother with headers pita to install and minimal gains. but FI is the only way to go for real power.

GTR front, ouch... Id say go with MD plenum spacer and test pipes/ high flow cats for your exhaust. That will allow to free up the most ponies. Also get clear corners asap, amber doesn't look good with that aggressive of a setup. Lastly short ram intakes don't do anything for performance, and may actually decrease HP/TQ numbers. You can search and find the exact thread that gives all of the details if your interested. Welcome and gl!
