Need new tires, AGAIN. Also a WEIRD note put on my car!

My '05 G35 Coupe with the sports package is having some tearing on the inside of the front right of the tire. My car only has 40,000 miles, and it seems like I have to replace the tires every 20,000 miles!

I have summer tires on them, and I'm thinking of getting all season's. Any reccomendations?

ALSO, someone left this note on my windshield:
The inside shoulder of your right side front tire isi about to blow out! Be careful

I thought someone may have put a bomb under there, and my car was parked in an airport employee parking lot when this note was left on my car! There has been a weird noise that I can hear when I'm driving that sounds like metal grinding on metal when I'm near a barrier, but it only happens something. Any ideas???

Is it a squeaky high-pitched metal on metal noise? How's your alignment? When's the last time you changed out your brake pads?

I had an oil change by Chantilly Infiniti in VA and they did an inspection and only issues they found was my belts needed changing, but no issues with brakes.

I haven't checked them myself though. I don't hear squeaking while I slow down either

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....110XL&i3_Qty=2

Come up to $700 after everything from tirerack

I would take it to a shop and put it on a lift and try to find out what is grinding first. Its not a chance that its every set of tires you buy. So its something grinding or your alignment. Oh and 1,100 is a little much for even good tires. Tire rack, or try to fine a NEXEN dealer. Get NEXEN N3000. Cheep, hold up well, smooth, good traction, and you can't hear them.

The Continental DWS all season. Long treadlife and reasonable. The squeek might be one of the fan belts. I had to change mine at 48000.

Hankook Ventus V12's and Continental DW's are great summer tires for the money. My brother has some Michelin Primacy MXV4 A/S tires on his 07 G sedan and they've lasted him around 60000 miles and aren't that expensive.

Are you asking about what the note meant? It's just warning you about your tire. :P

I own an 04 G35 coupe. To reduce tire wear I replaced the front upper A arms with an adjustable type to reduce inner tire wear while maintaining some negative camber. Same in the rear getting adjustable bolts that have a cam adjustment. Least expensive way to go to increase tire wear.

I'm not car savvy enough to mess with the tire area at all. I live in an apartment complex and can't do much work cuz no garage and no tools. When I was at my folks place I used to mess with my Accord, but can't do that here with my G

I still have to go somewhere to change my oil!
