Re: G35x Coupe
Nope, they're not planning it and it will never happen. I've said this before and I'll say it again:
Coupes are truly supposed to be as impractical as a Convertible, but for those who simply don't like ragtop/convertible.
Until I see the 6MT G35C 6MT even being AVAILABLE with all-season tires (as opposed to the performance summer tires it comes with), there's no chance of a G35Cx.
Also, I refer to the 6MT because I know that the 5AT comes with all-season tires standard....I guess that's a little bit of practicality for a more practical transmission.

Re: G35x Coupe
The truth sometimes is "Elussive"
The 5AT w/the performance tire and wheel package comes with the Michelin Pilots. Snow tires are required for winter driving.

Re: G35x Coupe
An X coupe wouldn't be targeted for cold/ inclement weather drivers it would be for those who want the enhanced handling and off-the-line traction abilities of AWD. Since the G is already excellent as regards handling and satisfactory as regards launch traction, I don't see adding the extra cost for it unless the HP was increased significantly, as it would otherwise simply add weight and perhaps reduce straght-line accelleration (example 1990 Eclipse GSX vs GST) If I remember corectly, the handling was improved with the AWD but the 0-60 was about 3 tenths less than the GST.

Re: G35x Coupe
Yeah, you guys are right about a high-performance version of the G35C possibly having AWD. But at the same time, Infiniti targets BMW (and makes it pretty obvious) with their Coupe and even if they do release a higher-performance version of the G35C, it may still have RWD since Nissan/Infiniti knows that BMW believes in it so strongly. I guess it could go either way??? I think I'm leaning towards Nissan using AWD though, for a potential higher-performance Coupe.
