Thinking of painting my front grills silver??

Have an 03 black coupe...thinking of painting the main grille and then the lower 2 wire grilles silver...think that would look good?

has anyone done this ive only seen people doing black.

also any prep work I need to to or is there a good how to?

Sounds kinda tacky personally. They sell chrome grill kits that go into the 2 lower grills. Doesnt look good at all.

i dont think ive ever seen it done in silver.

just go to the diy section and look for the grill painting thread.

If you're talking about the OEM grill and not some after market billet or mesh grills, I cant find ones on an OB but there's a couple...

if this didn't have the two lower grills,


this one on a sedan looks good,

Ive always thought of color matching my grill on my DG.. Looks similar anyway in the right light.

^ those two "lower" grilles are intercoolers, more than likely a twin turbo setup under the hood on that car

correct those are intercoolers

OP paint the grill silver and leave the lower grills alone

Black painted grill or those giallia type grills = best. any other and it looks like crap.

Since you have an OB coupe go black or Gialla if you need to mod the grille.
