Spark Plug Replacement at mechanic or DIY?

I believe they were Bosch, a direct stock replacement.

NGK.... I got mine on "ships and sold by" Amazon. I wouldn't buy them from a seller, I want them from a big name so I know they are probably a bit more legit, new and not man handled.

Always make sure you guys are checking the gap on plugs before installation... especially if shipped in the mail. After being shipped, there's a higher likelihood that the gap could be off as a result of being bashed around and "manhandled" in transit, even though most manufacturers put those little cardboard electrode protectors around their plugs to keep them from pounding against the back of the sparkplug box while in storage or during shipping. This is particularly important on long-life plugs like the ones our cars use because they'll be in there for a long time, so take the few extra moments to make sure they are gaped as close to spec as possible prior to installation.

dont forget to be prepared for potentially new spark plug seals due to the dreaded oil pooling in sleeves 5 and 6.
