Been noticing a weird wind/whistling sound lately when driving. Any clues on what it could be? I can try to take a better video later.

Don't really notice when I turn up the music, but when off the sound is very noticeable.

 

Is your check engine light on? Do you hear it at idle? Have you worked on your car lately?

 

Have you installed a turbo lately?

You have to tell us more if you expect help. Is your throttle response the same? Is it the same at speed as it is at idle?Have you gotten the codes checked (free from auto zone or equivalent)?

Do a little research because a whine could be a million things.

No light on. Don't hear it at idle. And no engine work. Only thing I've done is plenum spacer and z-tube years ago.

No turbo. Throttle response is fine. No sound at idle, just when driving. Haven't gotten codes check since there's no check engine light. And yeah I noticed I looked it up and most sounds come from recent engine work. I haven't done anything in a year

Just a stillen z-tube installed years ago.

 

Sounds like your window isn't sealing correctly. When you door is closed, is the window fully against the top seal from the front to the back of the door?

 

I was thinking that might be the issue. The liner (?) that goes against the window is slightly off, maybe by like half a centimeter. Anyone know a quick fix?

 

You could try to adjust your window, with the door panel off there's 3 adjustment bolts.
