I know the G is not a drag car or anything, but I was wondering what type of times people are getting and with what types of upgrades they used.

I was very disappointed with my G. I got consistent 15.4s when i went to the track back in the summer. Then again, conditions were horrible: 92 F, very humid, high elevation, and my tires suck. I dont know how much these factors affect times, but it sucked hitting 15.4s. That night i also went to the track with my friend who has a 6mt Z. he was running 15s too, so i have no idea what was up that day. I actually beat him one run. I hope my car is faster than 15.4s tho : /

I ran a 14.4@98 with the Crawford V5 Plenum, Z-Tube w/ Pop-Charger... I didn't even ride the clutch... I've read from everyone on here... That you should ride the clutch to run good times... My time was slow... Because a buddy of mine ran a 14.4 bone stock... It was in the summer... Can't remember the temp though...

yes, ...fastest time at Cali Speed Way @ 1100ft above sea level @ 65 degrees outside was 13.4 @107mph...with a 2.2 60' time on street tires.

Z tube, 5AT weighing in at 3546 lb (I left everything in the trunk)
the temp was in the low 70s

 

13.97 with only a borla exhaust and injen intake. if u have a 6spd, launch no higher than 1400 rpm. i guess i can drive a little. my time is pretty quick compared to the others.

For all you 5 ATs, could u describe your launch techniques. Brake torque? What rpm? MM mode? Thx guys. Im goin to the track again in a week or two and i gotta redeem my G and break 14s
