Yeah so as the topic said I live in Florida and my AC doesn't work properly. Major PITA since its about 96 out right now with no cloud cover.

My problem is that everytime I turn the AC on the blower makes a horrible clunking and scraping sound. I took my cabin air filter out and put my hand in (AC off of course) and spun it with my hand and it felt like its out of balance and hitting the walls.

Has anyone else run into this problem. Only thread I found was a 03 Sedan problem but they never said what the final verdict was. Is it possible to replace just the fan with a new one thats balanced. I seen they sell just the fan for the 07-08 G's but havnt found it for an 06.

However with that said, let's trade. I'll take a broken AC and 96 degree weather vs. our Chicago's current weather of raining and 30 something degrees. Any day. I love heat. Fck chicago.

hahaha yeah pretty much sums it up....I think I just need to by a new blower fan and i found it on ebay for $75 just need to find out how to uninstall the blower box so I can replace it....

 

I'm in FL too, what part of FL are you guys in ?

I love leaving the gym, hopping in a black interior oven, and having the car cool down just as i get home. hahahaha
