I think thats just a reflection because plastic doesnt rust.

The centercap isnt rusted, its just the yellow light reflecting of the pavement

True Gary. I remember reading that a powercoat is around $150 to $300. Don't know how accurate that figure is but that's a far cry from a $10 can of spray paint. When they chip and fade, just do it again. XD

edit: So $150-$300 is way off. More around $350-$500 for all four wheels.

Why the hell would you powdercoat for $500? That's insane! Just buy new rims already!! Lol I'm gonna be painting my rims soon too. Yes, I'm cheap. Anyone know what the stock color on the oem 18's are originally? I would like to go back to that if possible. The last owner of my car tried to go gun metal but I dont like it. Thanks

I dint like it at first. But after i clean up everything, i kinda like the look. I had aftermarket rims that had a chrome centerpiece too, some are just like that. I guess different drivers have different tastes
