Way too much to read but did you already sign the paperwork and take delievery of vehicle. Pretty much sounds like you are SOL since you already signed and agreed to price and condition of vehicle. I wish you did more research on the vehicle and did not get emotional and sign without stepping back for a second and thinking.

You can try to go in and talk to them but i highly doubt they will pull out 2k or 3k and give it to you as a refund. You should have realized something when they guy said, "He said I was correct and that they prolly had this car since last year when it was eligible for CPO so thats why it said it was still."

Right at that point you should have realized that the car has been sitting on the lot for quite a long time. That should have hinted to you something is wrong with the vehicle. Maybe price is too high for the current market and that is true. CPO pricing for a vehicle with no CPO is something that should have been brought up.

The whole thing about the bank and only financing with those terms is FULL OF SHI*****. The bank would love for you to get a lower price on the car so they only have to finance a smaller portion. If the vehicle is worth 30k and bank will finance it for $28k you bet your A** they will finance that car for $25k if you can talk them down. The greater the difference from Nada Value to the value you negotiated means easier to get a loan.

I am gonna stop talking since i have been rambling on but reply back if you want more info on this.

Edit: I think you are waayy over paying. i need some more info like color, mileage, transmission, options to get you a better pricing.

here are some vehicles i think that are priced fair

Try to return the car? I know the dealerships around here have full refund periods...just say you were extremely dissatisfied with the car and you wish to have your money refunded. You should be able to get your money back - it's all in how you talk to the business manager. Once you get your money back, do a little more homework and find another one for a better price somewhere else!

Thanks for the replys. Its a Ivory Pearl '06 5AT with 68k miles Premium package with Navi.

I'm overpaying, other dealerships have their pricing around $20-$24k.

I'm sure I signed a paper that said I have 15 days to return it for a refund. I wasnt given that paper when I left so they have it, I feel like they'll try to screw me and say I never signed anything like it.

I know its my fault for this and I'm prolly SOL on them doing anything.

The resell value on the Infiniti G are very low. You should have been able to get an '05 for around 15k .

Dealerships make the most from used cars. That markup was extremely high, I'm thinking by at least by 6k. Go in there, complain about the headlights and such, and see if you can get a refund.

Go back and raise hell. I would also contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and see what they say. Maybe they can contact the dealership and scare them into getting you out of that contract. Good luck.

It wouldn't make sense for someone to switch out the 06 projector headlight for the inferior 03-05 headlights unless the car was in an accident and the person opted to replace the damaged headlights with a cheaper version. I would be very wary of this car.

First if u purchased the car in california u won't be able to return it cause there's no cooling off period in California, unless u opt for one and u would know if u did cause they charge u for it.

Second vehicles are sold as is so if u signed the contract u bought it the way it is, unless it was brandnew

I don't blame u for getting screwed on the headlights cause if u didn't know u didn't know (I didn't even know there was a difference in headlights untill after I bought my g) but u should've done more research on the price before u signed anything. 26,500$ seems pretty excessive for a G with 68,000 miles on it even if it is an 06. I got my fully loaded G with 72,000 miles on it for 15,000k after tax and license (granted it is an 04 though) cause I hagled the s*** outta salesman.

Goodluck though, hopefully u can work something out with the stealership...

wow they must have seen you coming from a mile away..
Lesson learned, next time u go to buy a car do your homework and go with someone who knows what they're doing. You got screwed out of a certified pre-owned which gives u a full warranty up to 100k miles. You got screwed out of proper headlights which are projector style valued at almost twice as much as the older units. You got screwed out of negotiating the price because you believed their bullsh1t..and you may have gotten screwed on the interest rate u financed at.

Holy **** not to make you feel bad or anything, but you got ripped off really badly.

I bought my 2006 6MT sport @ 15k miles for $23,000, two years ago.

Tell the manager of the dealership that you have a family member who is an experienced lawyer that felt you were treated unjustly. See what they have to say. You may at least be able to weasel a warranty out of them. What is the book value of the car compared to what you paid?
