Time for the 2006 speculation thread
Re: Time for the 2006 speculation thread
I predict that it will introduce the first widespread use of repulsorlift technology. That's right, a hover car.
If nothing ever ended badly, then nothing would ever end.

Re: Time for the 2006 speculation thread
Why would they make changes for 2006 so early? they will not bump up the 6MT HP again, but they will probably give the 5AT more power; but it might not be to 298.
the other changes will be minor, like the diffs between 03 and 04.

Roswell, Start living today so you can stop depriving yourself of the pleasure of 300hp and six gears. I have one of the first 2003's and I love getting into this car for exactly two years now. It is still a bargain.

Hehehe, I already do! I presently have a 300 HP 1993 Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo 5MT since 1993. And just like you, everytime I get into my car, I still have a huge smile in my face eventhough I had it for more then 10 years. As you can see, I'm in no rush to spend a huge amount of $$$ on a car I'm not 100% happy with, if I'm still happy with the one I have now, which is perfect for ME in every way to this day. Like I said, the 3 things mentionned above would push me to make the purchase cause it would make it equal or a little better then my present car. BTW, when you have Turbo, it's hard to give it up hehehe.

Re: Time for the 2006 speculation thread
I'm getting a 2005, so all ya need to STFU...ehhe..=) messing.
I haven't even gotten my car yet, could I please enjoy it first =)
On the real, I don't think the changes will be major at all. The major changes will be in 2007. Some changes in 06 will probably be better MP3 features, 8 way passenger seat instead of the 4 way and alum nav top. Stuff like this, but nothing major like engine changes. 1 more **** month til I get my slice of heaven =).
[ON ORDER] 2005 G35 6MT COUPE - BLACK ON BLACK - PREM - NAV - AERO KIT W/ SPOILER - SPLASHGUARDS - TRUCK MAT

ENSOR
How much is a clear bra and yeah I've heard the paint on the G isn't all that great. A clear bra on black, would that look seemless? clean? Is getting a clear bra a must for certain locations, depending on where you live at? Is your paint chipping now?

Re: Time for the 2006 speculation thread
depends on the installer but i'd say ~$400. pretty seamless, there will be a very slight line from a few feet away you shouldn't be able to notice it at all.
i'd say if you drive on the express way at all get one, if a rock hits your front end about 90% of the time its chip.
i drive about 15 minutes each way to work on the express way and no matter how careful i think i am about avoiding possible rock throwers i still get a chip or so a week.
