Time for the 2006 speculation thread
Never too soon to start winhing, speculating and outright lying about what next years G is going to have/not have.
A personal friend of mine and the brother-in-law of my sisters ex-boyfriend both said that for sure, the '06's would all have Blu-Ray DVD players and footwarmers for all 4 passengers.
They promised on George Bush's grave.
Oh wait, he's not dead yet.
Well, one can only hope.

I predict no exterior/interior changes and no hp changes (Nissan only does that mid-generation). Probably a couple more gimmicks like smart key and memory seats on the coupe. A couple of colors might get replaced. I'm hoping for HID projectors as well.. That's about it, the big surprise will come in 2007

I'm wishing that they will raise the HP of the 5AT to 298 just like the 6MT, introduce i-key and memory seats. I'm once again holding back on the 05 just like I did for the 03 and 04 cause there is still some stuff I'm unhappy about. It's a lot of money so no rush, plus I'm still happy with my present car. Those changes would make me buy it in a heartbeat.

I don't think there will be a supprise in 2007. What do u think they can do about our exterior?? Its nearly perfect. I think they will either stop producing the G35 and replace with the GT-R, or some other models. I really don't expect much about the new exterior design....cause I think the shape and the exterior of our car is nearly perfect. Anything gets over it, might be worse.

Roswell, you can wait for fossil fuels to be replaced by fermented cow dung, and there will be some other awesome car that you really really want. It may be 2020 and your false teeth, cataracts, hip replacement, colon, and hair weave will then become more important issues. Start living today so you can stop depriving yourself of the pleasure of 300hp and six gears. I have one of the first 2003's and I love getting into this car for exactly two years now. It is still a bargain. Ask the guy who traded up for a new fugly blue M3 in one of the other posts. I'll probably trade up for the twin turbo or supercharged version in a couple of years. But, I'd have had a hard on during all that time!

For 2006, Infiniti will probably
-change the wheel design of the 19's, but stick with 19" size
-memory seats
-changes in colors
-keyless ignition
-slight increase in HP to get it over 300
-another center console redesign
-fog lights on front bumper option
-upgrade premium stereo with DVD-Audio surround sound

Enough of the political talk. Lets not get off-track. I really don't see them discontinuing the G35. Its a great, hot selling car. Even if they have the GT-R coming out.
