scraping problemsssss

i am dropped on tein stechs and running stock 18s with 40s in the front and 45s in the rear. well this isnt the first time i've scraped, i go diagonally every single time, but there are times when it just doesn't work

anyways, i just decided to jack my car up and see what happened underneath.... are those dents a big deal? or can i just ignore it and go on with my daily scraping life?

thanks for any bright inputs =]

ouch you must have some bad streets out there.

I am dropped 2.5 inches on coils and my exhaust is about 2 inches or less from hitting the ground, but you should be fine for now.

if you are scraping really bad frequently you might have to replace your y pipe and cats and stuff.

oh in that case, you just have to try and remember your area and you just have to avoid those steep areas with dips and bumps etc....

i wouldint worry about it. my gtspec midpoint chassis brace is about 0.75-1" away from the ground lol, sits pretty low ... Scrapes like crazzy but i guess it protects the exhaust lol.

One of my favorite quotes from this forum came from Candlestick Park. "There is no such thing as too low, the ground is too high."

You're fine with the damage that's been done, I'm surprised you haven't dinged up your exhaust/cats.

How did you manage to dent that section? That looks like it sits higher than other parts of the car, subframe, y-pipe, muffler, etc.

Nevertheless, I think you can go on of your daily scrapping life...lol

You could be like the rest of us and avoid specific driveways and other areas that cause damage and slow down and take everything at a 45 degree angle!
