repainting brembo brake calipers

trying to decide between blue to match the car or repainting them bronze again.

also... where can you get the brembo overlay? I can't find one for it and I want to maintain that on it. forget this one found my answer on evolution forums.

so what color do you think. I'm trying to decide on whether to paint my new wheels bronze or black also. I'm getting everything powder coated instead of crackle can, so it should look good. I just don't know what color combination to go with.

Sounds like you already have Brembos, try Google using Brembo so you can contact them for the correct caliper paint and overlays....easy?

you can try your local mail for decals if they have a booth, just give them the size you need. and for the wheels, stick w/ black.

yeah I have brembos. I was wanting to do it myself, but I saw how bad they can look. after a little more searching I decided to go with powdercoating for them too. I am going to talk to the place that does it about using a stencil to spray brembo back on it after repainting it. I really am proud of having brembos, so I don't want to just cover up it saying brembo. still can't decide on what color though. the 2 main ones I'm thinking are a blue that's close in color to the body color or repainting it bronze like it came from the factory. If I do bronze on my wheels though I don't want that. I just am having trouble deciding colors really.

think the black would look better with it? I was leaning that way, but some of the pics on here of ones with bronze look really good.

what color would you do on calipers with black on wheels?

wtfjim, it would help if you could post pic of your coupe so we'd know what color ride you have. I did mine dark blue just slightly lighter than my Twilight Blue body color.

does not have the crappy looking hood anymore. it's body color, but will be replaced with a real carbon hood in the near future. trunk will be carbon as well. side skirt add ons are being removed and rear bumper is being repainted and fixed when I have a week I can go without the car and drive a family member's car. might be a little while on that part, but it will happen sometime in the next month or two.

please don't think that hood was my idea to be wrapped in a carbon vinyl. that was the previous owner of the car. I do have a plan for how I'm doing my mods and they do include a real carbon hood though.

Good choice one the new hood and I think leaving them bronze would look best.

not my style but it could. that would be more of a show car style. I'm going more just plain sports car style on it with some race flare. I like the look of real carbon, but the cheap vinyl crap looked hideous on it. even with the paint mars on the hood it looks better without the vinyl.

I am starting to think just stick with the bronze. asked a couple friends today and most of them say black wheels with bronze calipers would look best especially with carbon components.

those are the style wheels I'm getting. I believe the same offsets too. I'm buying them from someone who has them on a 350z track car. they are black right now, but need paint on the front so I was going to just powdercoat them all.

now we are talking about style. lol. if my car were red I'd consider it. I'd consider red for my calipers though. would be like most brembos if they were red. red looks good against the black as well.

that's the look I was thinking if I went blue and just have brembo on it instead of infiniti, because I have the brembo package for my brakes.

These are brembos, I just had it stenciled with Infiniti instead of brembo.
