Hi folks!

Just picked up a '03 G35 Coupe Friday. Got to enjoy the ride back from Chicago to Indianapolis, almost 300 miles.
I think it's a beautiful car. Although I miss my 323i, the power in the G is mesmerizing.
Popping it down the gears to 3rd on the highway and punching it is just so much fun.
Anyway, want to say hi. I'll probably get the mod bug for the G soon, however not sure what I can do since it's leased.

Since it's leased you could probably do the mods that can be taken out easily....

Mine's not leased, but I don't want any hassle from the dealer so I am thinking....z-tube, y-pipe, HF cats (maybe), exhaust (maybe), and crawford plenum. The plenum would be the only thing I see that the dealership may give me trouble on because it is a direct bolt-on to the engine...

I was thinking of mods that I could just part out when I turn it in.
I've got a deal with this dealer that will let me trade in leases whenever without penelty. I might trade in after 9-12 mths, depending on if I fall in love with the G or not.
If I do, then I might splurge on the GReddy twin turbo kit.

But until then, what kind of mods have people been going with?
CAI, exhaust etc.

 

Is there anything like the Gruppe M CAI found in the E46 BMW?
I love the carbon fiber. Seems like the intake on the G is very similar to how the Gruppe M worked.
