window sound after replacing the motor

So i replaced my driver side window motor on my 03 coupe........ and now every time i close the door with the glass half rolled ud....... i hear a thud sound, it sounds like the glass beats against something........ it doesn't make any sound while i go over the bumps though. Also i made sure i tightened each and every thing while putting back

Any one had the same problem........ how do i fix it, it's irritating.

I tried the search but it didn't help, may be i'm using the wrong key words

Thanks

Well, when my right side window is rolled down more than 1/4" of the way, it will make a rattling sound like metal on metal when going over bumps and cracks in the road, especially the little round ceramic ***** on the freeway that separate the lanes.

Did you remember to perform the window motor reset feature to properly reset the top and bottom stops?

^i think hes refering to the glass making that horrible shaking sound like its gonna fall apart when he closes his door. OP, tightening the 2 big screws on the bottom of the panel with the washers where the rail bolts to helps
