It was burning oil and I found out it had a leak coming from the oil filter housing and the fact that I ran it 18 times at the track prob burned the last of it

unfortunately I blew mine as well.. fixin to get started on rebuilding it! Keep us posted!

i hope you replaced the piston rings as well as that is the actual problem with these motors. and you said the oil cooler seal was leaking, im guessing you replaced that too? otherwise, seems like a budget rebuild. hope all works out well. i just finished my build!

This is a diff motor I put a hole through the block on the original this is a running motor with 90k on it I ported heads replaced valve seals and put hearders on it ported lower and mid intake manifold put thinner head gaskets on.

Got just about all of it pulled out today just need the ac condenser off and engine mounts took us only 4 hours

Dude get some jack stands. Only time cinder blocks should be used is when you're jacking the wheels. But seriously man, that scares me to see those blocks under the car and you guys crawling under it also.

Cinder blocks are sketchy, at least keep the jack under there or keep a wheel and tire under there with you to keep a little space to breathe if one of those blocks cracks.

We are short on supplies so that's all I got but I'm sure they will hold ill post more pics today ill have the old motor and trans all the way out
