i heard if you've never changed the tranny fluid ever, its better off that you never change it than changing it out of no where.

I've heard something along those lines, how what builds up over time actually helps keep it from breaking down so changing it out of no where actually ends up being detrimental. I think they said change a little bit then wait 5,000 miles to change more and then do it again. Feel free to correct me as I'd have to do this anyway

I drift my car and let others use it too... only just now decided to change the tranny fluid (102k) it was still clean and red... I just don't care if it blows and never had issues with it. Plus I always wanted it to pop so I could swap it. I change my diff every other oil change (6-7k miles) and run amsoil or mobil 1 with additive to keep it cooler. I wouldn't worry about it. The diff will prob have shavings but thats normal and the tranny will be fine. If it isn't slipping don't worry. DON'T FLUSH IT WITH THAT AMOUNT OF MILES ON IT!!! Just drain and fill.

If it runs good buy it. Stay as far away from most dealers as you can and just do a drain and fill on the trans (4qts, 10 mins, $46) and drain fill the diff (again 10 min, 1.5qts, $10-40 depending on choice of fluid). As for bushings and parts aftermarket parts are cheap and most are simple to install. My 03 is used hard everyday and I wouldn't part with it for 10k regardless of market value. I would rather keep it and run it into the ground. A 5at is $400-1000 and a motor is $450-1500 a diff is $300-1000 (used) you will prob get 175-300k out of that car. What other car for $10k is going to look as nice, be as much fun to drive, cost as much new as this one did? You can't get many decent cars for 10k or less.

As for my dealer comment... I once went to get the clock bulb for my g and the dealer wanted over $30 for it... I bought on on ebay for $.99shipped and it out lasted the oem one. If you do need parts riverside infiniti has great prices. I bought a pair 07 projectors off them for $500 shipped when my dealer wanted $900 each.

Things too look out for- Radio and AC sticking and no buttons working without hitting it. Window regulators. Camber wear on tires (normal deal with it lol). Bushings... My car is slammed and I only had to replace a few but that was due to driving over a deer in the road at 75mph (road trip SC 2am... truck in hit it into me).
