Overheating problem..

Hello everyone, I haven't posted on here for a while. Having an overheating issue. This happens only when it gets extremely hot here in South West Florida. One of the fans never turns on. Do you guys know what could be the problem? I am pretty sure there is no air in the system and at first when it was overheating I noticed that the second fan doesn't turn so I replaced the whole cooling fan assembly and still having the same problem. Is there a relay or fuse that I could check? Any suggestions? BTW its an 05 coupe automatic

Having the same problem, I know my left fan isn't working. I haven't replaced mine yet, does it happen when your sitting still, or while your driving?

It usually happens during heavy traffic, while idling and driving..
Glad to know that I am not the only one. I can't believe we have no solution to this problem

mine only happens when it's really hot, and the ac is on, but never while driving.

Theres a warranty extention for the radiator fan motors. Applies to 04-07 coupes. Extends original warranty to 96 months/100k miles.

When you replaced the cooling assembly, did that include both fan motors (the round metal ones). Over time some have been found to develop too much electrical resistance and causing malfunctions. Happened to my 07 coupe last year. Both motors had to be replaced. Totally free of charge at dealership (wouldve been $500 parts/labor for both motors).

Yes, I replaced motors + shroud.
I would assume it would overheat more during idling. I am pretty its the not the fans. I think its an electrical (Relay) related issue.

^^ Received a warranty notification letter early last year. There's no TSB about it, but any dealer can verify it.

there is actually a recall on the 04 fan shroud motor giving out.. i received a letter from infiniti corp stating that issue. but when i went to the dealer and showed them the letter and asked if they would replace these parts they said they couldnt because it has not failed yet. so before they charge you for something that should be replaced under the warranty

Just got off the phone with the dealership, taking my G in the morning to get fixed. They told me the fans are covered. Wish me luck on the fix!
