MAF Sensor problem?

All right I'm new here so I'd like to say hey to everyone, and I already have a question. I got my 07 DG 6mt coupe with black interior a little over a month ago. I love the thing. I have recently put a Stillen z tube in it and today I installed my JWT Pop-charger and heat shield. I think I might have damaged the MAF sensor when doing so...I unplugged it once and plugged it back in after the install and never started my car up cause I realized i left a gasket out. So I took out the air filter with the MAF sensor housing attached and installed the gasket, and closed the hood. I forgot to plug the MAF sensor back in...So I started it up and noticed this immediately and turned the car off and plugged it in... When I started the car back up, the check engine light, SLIP sign, and VDC off light all came on. Again I unplugged it and plugged it back on, this time with the car running...Now only the check engine light comes on and stays on. I'm pretty sure I screwed something up or damaged it plugging it back in/unplugging it during the install? I tried to be careful with it but I guess that didn't work. The car appears to run fine to me though...I haven't noticed anything wrong power wise I think. I'm just worried about it thats all. What does everyone think?

Also I'm located in Wilmington N.C. just if anybody wanted to know.

Do an ECU reset. It should clear the CEL.

Thanks man, I did that and it worked fine. I saw that guide earlier and was wondering if it would work or not and it did. After I finally got the timing right it worked. I really appreciate it.
