Did a search but didn't find anything. So perhaps I'm the only one who couldn't figure this out... Can someone tell me what that pocket on the 6MT center console (behind the shifter. with a sliding door covering it) is for? There is also a small spring-loaded widget inside that adds to the mystery... Like a puzzle, it is eating me up not knowing what it is. TIA.

 

in japan a lot of people smoke, it could be a cigarette case...seems like a standard size box for marlboro.

What about the opening on the center console to the right, facing the passenger or on the passenger side.

its a storage compartment and doubles as cup holder with a spring loaded divider allows for 2 cups, i use it more for the storage like my cell phone, gas reciepts, camera....etc
