My 04 coupe cluster is messed up pretty bad. Scratches n water damage. It has 55k on it and i wanted buy another one in better condition. 2 questions, if i find one with lower mileage will that mileage transfer to my car? or is it stored in the cpu?

 

The mileage is stored in the cluster so when you replace it you will have the mileage that is on the new cluster so try to look for one with around 55k miles. I have one off of an 04 6 speed with 58k miles on it.
