Either go to one of our vendors, i recommend detailers image, and buy a porter cable buffer with pads and probably a 2 stage polish and then get it out using that. Or you can take it into a GOOD detailer shop and have them buff it out for you.

^Yeah what they said. There really should be no need to have to repaint your whole trunk. Buff that b!tch

wax isnt going to remove the ghosting, you have to get some 3M scratch remover and polish is out, then you can wax it

Check the detailing section in the DIYs. There are some pros in there that cover this exact subject.

Basically:
1 Cleaner Wax
2 Scratch X
3 Carnuba Wax
4 Polish.

Unless your car sits in the Las Vegas desert every day of its life that will definitely remove the ghosties. Or you could take it to a body shop, either way.

I've only been posting on here two weeks, and I'm sick of seeing threads like this already. You HAVE to get that buffed out. If you don't have a buffer or don't know how to, take it to a car wash and slip the guy 20 bucks to buff your trunk.

^ Hahaha but +1 on buffing. Should easily be able to help out. Also could use a clay bar after that and before you wax.

If you polish after wax, you'll just strip everything off, lol.

Should be:
-Wash
-Clay bar
-Cleaner wax
-Polish with Scratch X or other polishing compounds
-Seal with a carnuba wax or sealant

I recommend Menzerna products.
