I don't see anything in my door jam. Anyone have the code for dg? I might just get it done professionally. I got a quote for $90 at a local shop.

edit: nvm I found it on another thread. The code is WV2 which is the paint I thought matched in the first place. Still don't know whether to paint myself or just pay someone.

Also, since I bought this lip http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-06...item588f1cfaf7 do I need a primer or can I just buy a 12oz bottle of paint and then clear coat it?

The paint from automotivetouchup is mixed and put into an aerosol can when ordered. The IP paint is 3 different stages; base, pearl and clear. The quality of a paint job is the prep and spray technique.

I would sand with a fine grit sand paper, prime it and then paint. The primer you can get from anywhere but the base and clear I would get from automotivetouchup.com...

I think I'll go this route. Only 30 bucks vs 100.

That thing looks like:

I don't know that it would run with the body lines of the car. The only two lips I've seen that I like are the Gialla, which I have, and the OEM sports package lip.

I love having my Gialla lip on my lowered G. It constantly scrapes going in and out of angled parking lots.

It really does bring the front end and the sides of the car together, though, in my honest opinion. I've never liked how the front bumper is higher than the side skirts from a profile view.

Hey guys so I just got a PU Gialla Lip off ebay and got it installed the other day. It came out with gaps all around it and I'm not happy with how it looks. I know aftermarket fit is not perfect but can gaps be filled in to make the transition smoother or no?

Are the gaps on the top part of the lip? You could try putting 3M double sided tape in that area and see if it holds. Hopefully the gaps are not too big.
