Need 05 g35 athens blue coupe rear-side photos. pls

Hey guys. having a debate with my body shop guy. some lady touched the corner of my rear bumper and i decided to get it fixed at the local body shop. I didnt ask if they would repaint it or blend it..didnt care as look as it looked good.

Well i get the car back and i noticed the rear bumper is darker and maybe alittle more purple that the rest of the car. its noticeably to me now. They say its hard to match metal to plastic bumper metallic and that he is checking to see how much they painted and how much they blended.

So can you guys post some pictures of the rear-side of an ATHENS BLUE coupe? is the bumper on them always a different shape on OEM paint?

im curious though...after looking at a bunch of online pictures(and it may be my eyes now) but the rear bumper is always a little darker.

now one thing i cant know is if any of the below pics show g35's that have been repainted with the same paint match issues. so post a pic if you have a non-repainted g35

this one below looks perfect to me....

this pic below looks exactly like how mine does now...alittle darker and a ting of purple

What they told you is true. But if it looks a little purple to you they might have mixed the paint wrong or added too much of a certain color while mixing it. But I think other people won't really notice. You notice it because you know it was painted but when another person will look at the car they most likely won't be able to tell.

My 05 AB coupe is a perfect match, I have seen other G's that show slight variances on the plastics which is probably a good indicator that they have been repainted.

Second pic (as requested).

Third pic (as you can see there is no variance in the paint on the plastics)...

* What you do notice however is that the light reflects differently off the plastic vs. the metal painted surfaces.
