in stock form, the G35s already are looking like "plain old whatever vehicle", imo. definitely doesn't stand out as it once did.
it also doesn't help that prices have dropped on these cars and a lot of G's are being modded like riced out civics

I dont think Ill ever get rid of mine.. Im only 20, its my 4th car, and Im in love.. Ive wanted one since they came out in 03 when I was 12. Again, too many kids are getting their hands on them, and some of yall might say Im kid, but atleast I have taste... not like what some of these other kids. I beleive its the new 240/civic, gonna get cheap and kids going to mod them out by using cheap parts theyll be able to afford from paycheck to paycheck at micky d's. Pretty much, the stock cars are blah, Nothing special. For those of us who can match the right parts/rims/stance/ect will have a G that will def stand out for the next decade or so.

Yippers. When Civic drivers can buy G's at 2-3k and pimp the cr@ap out of them. It happens to all cars. I've seen some pimped out 3 series from the 90's, NAAASSTTTYYY!Originally Posted by Affalterbach

She has already been played out, but I love her.
Would you not want an older 911SC ???
In 20 years, would you not want a G356mt ???
Played out...YES
Replaced...NO

We're actually riding on the coat tails of the G37 if you think about it.
Not a huge difference in looks between G35/37 at first glance. But most ppl would still pick the lines of the 35 over 37 though.
So basically as long as the G37 keeps rolling along, our 35's wont be played out anytime soon IMO.

I think the G35 will always be a memorable car simply because there are really no others cars out there like it, the G37 is nice but nothing like the G35. And also other car comapnies are just catching up to the hp levels of our v6's, for ex. my friends v6 mustangs makes 305 and its a 2011, while my car makes 298 and its an 05...
It's lines are beautiful and I'll never be selling mine

that's up to you, OP. it's not about how many you see on the road everyday. it's not about the teenagers rice-ing them out. it's about how YOU feel about YOUR car. if you walk into your garage and still look at your ride and think, "damn i love that car," then who cares about what some douche with a faux hawk in a 2010 lexus thinks of your car?
honestly, i completely DESPISE mustangs and at the top of that pile is that stupid 5.0 box style body, it's fvcking hideous. but i tell you what, if i see one in good shape with good mods, i still look and i still respect the ride. so if you are into the "who's looking at my car" mentality, then you just need to make sure you have a respectable looking ride and it will still turn heads.
and if you ever question the timeless styling of the G again....I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Not for a while around here. I think I've seen about 2 coupes since I bought mine in November.

in all honesty, the lines are classic if you keep it tasteful. hell, i still see second gen eclipses running around that look good. the problem is with the ****ers that have no taste. i will probably keep mine until my boys turn 16 (five more years) and then give it to them as their first car. i will then upgrade to something else.
