Brake Fluid Cover

Just received my JDM brake fluid cover. Haven't actually tried but just curious as to where the white piece is supposed to go. Wanted to find out before I waste some time out there in the cold. Anyone know?

The white "L" bracket goes in the same spot as the "L" bracket on your current battery cover - look at your battery cover to see what I mean. You should have also received 3 fasteners - fastener #1 attaches to the L bracket once installed, fastener #2 attaches to the bottom of the brake fluid cover, and fastener #3 goes in the top left corner.

It just goes on the underside of the large hole that is located at the bottom left hand corner if you were faceing the engine, this is so that one of the clips can be placed in the hole for cosmetic reasons. If you compare it to the actual battery side you will see the same white piece, the white clip does not attach to the car as it does in the batt compartment becasue there are no holes drilled.

Yes, there are no holes drilled. But, I drilled a hole for the top protrusion only. I filed down the bottom one, and it fits great.

So the brake fluid cover doesn't actually get attached to the car without drilling holes into some pieces .... becauce that's what I had to do to get them in.
