Lowering springs

What are the best option for lowering a g35 coupe. Nothing aggresive.I have oem wheels on my 2004. Also the size of spacers to make oem wheels look flushed. If any one has a used set I am interested. you can reach me at 832-494-6340. Further any one has decent 19 inch after market rims with a decent lip with 10.5 width rears. I am new to the forum Any help will be greatly appreciated.

that thread is your best friend.

most people who don't want an aggressive drop go with h-techs, but after awhile, most people want something more, like s-techs or pro kits. and even further on, you'll want to slam the derp out of your car...coilovers.

visit the private classifieds near the bottom of the main forum page, and support our vendors if you have the cash to buy new.

roughly, for every half inch you drop, you add about .7 of negative camber. cars are all different, but usually anything higher than a 1" drop, you can get back into oem spec in the rear, but I won't guarantee you won't need a camber kit if you drop an inch. our cars don't come with adjustable camber arms up front, so those will camber naturally.

regardless, you might need the camber the drop gives depending on your widths/offsets but it's always nice to have more range of adjustability (don't forget to roll your fenders if necessary as well). lastly, camber doesn't kill tires, it's messed up toe settings that chew up tires. get the toe set as close to 0 as possible, and camber wherever you feel comfortable, and flip your tires (if possible) every 5k miles to even the wear. good to go.

+1 on H-techs for a subtle but effective drop. As mentioned you will want to drop your car even lower as time goes by. My advice is to get some coil overs so you can set it wherever you want and change it as your taste changes. I have 19 OEM rays and I have the h-tech set-up. I have 25mm rear and 20mm front and my wheels sit flush. Keep in mind you will need a camber kit in the back for sure with most any kit. Invest in a good kit when you lower your car; I suggest SPC.
