Hey guys just got an 03 g35 coupe 6mt leather heated seats..ect. It doesn't have a sunroof which I know is rare for an manual with brembo. Now I don't see bose anywhere on the cd player. Did all g35s come with bose? Yes I searched and didn't find..

No, not all G's come with the Bose system.

Yeah I don't think my car has bose:/ does it say it on the speakers if I do?

 

Only premium package has Bose, moon roof, auto-dim rear view mirror, telescoping steering wheel, etc, etc..

Back speakers, and tape deck cover, should say Bose if you have the Bose system. I couldn't imagine what a stock system sounds like. With how much road noise the g35's make, Bose is a must.

^Those bells and whistles aren't really worth getting bummed about. If anything those little gadgets save a tiny bit of weight and potential electrical problems =D . Save up some money for a decent sound system and double din; the Bose "premium" sound system is crap anyway.

 

wait my 03 has everything mentioned but no telescopic sterring wheel. did 03's have that option?

 

i believe the telescopic steering wheel is only for the 05+ along with the bluetooth and the memory seats

I've never seen a G without a bose system or sunroof, this is news to me

 

I drive an 05 and it says Bose on the sub in the rear deck.

I don't have an issue with how the Bose sounds. For me it's good enough.

Wait until you see a G w/o leather interior. I think that's the rarest G made.

 

OP see if you have the Bose amp in your trunk. Its where the 3rd brake light cover is, just a couple push clips. Clarion also did a setup in the G also.

 

It's a coupe, amp wouldn't be in that spot. It would be to the left of the spare tire, after you remove the floor panel.

The early G's had all kinds of piece-meal options. Wasn't until recently that a 6MT was forced into fully loaded and that's it.
