Non working door locks and windows

Hello,

I have a 05 G35 Coupe and just recently I have been experiencing some issues with my window controls and door locks. When I try to use the door controls to put the windows up or down they will not work (driver side and passenger side) the same goes for the door locks. However, using the key fob I can lock and unlock the doors.
The windows will not move up or down when I open and close the doors either. This started as an intermittent issue but now it just completely stopped working. I checked all the fuses and everything was fine.
I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issues, and what the resolution was?

Thanks!

The door lock actuators in these cars suck, more than likely you will end up having to replace them. They can get expensive if you use oem replacement parts. Theres a guy named pythonjosh that makes a kit to fix that issue for like 40 bucks instead of the 130+ for each.

Your window motor is more than likely dirty. Take it out and use electrical parts cleaner on it to see if that helps.

I cleaned both of the window motors and they are still not working. I was wondering if there was some kind of controller for all of the door controls or something like that I could check. Like I said, the issue has been intermittent so it seems as though something is just loose.

About 3 months ago my driver side door lock stopped working on my 2004 g35. After research I found that my the actuator went bad in the door lock assembly. You may have to replace yours also.

Also, did you try opening the windows with the keyless entry remote? (You do this by holding down the unlock button for about 3-5 seconds)

If not of these suggestions work then it may be loose wiring.

My passenger side door lock won't unlock when using the key fob or the door lock/unlock switch but it will unlock if I move it manually. Was wondering where can I find more info on this kit at?
