Hey all,

So my engine is making noises, and the *check engine soon* light has come on so i'll need to take it in for a diagnostic to see what exactly is wrong...

Quesion:

Dealership is charging $118 dollars for a diagnostic, however Canadian Tire Auto Shop is chargin $55 ... is there a difference?

...I seriously want to know if there is anything else wrong with my car, so is the dealership the best way to go??

Any Canadians out there who know about Canadian Tire and if they can be trusted on our G's???

If you just want to read the code then anyone with a scanner can do it.. You can google the code it'll be something like P###

My vote goes to a dealer .. Remember your $118 diagnostics gets credited towards the repair if you decide to get the job done

Well double check first usually the drill is..

1hour for diag..
I tell you wants wrong and if you agree to fix it here then we go from there or you go on your way..
