motordyne spacer is a much better option unless you score that plenum for less than a 100 bucks or something lol

go to the motordyne site and check out the dyno differences...you should be able to find a 5/16 spacer for the same price

Just spend the extra $50 and get a MD spacer.

Kinetix isn't one of my top 10 choices in plenums and since he already has the MD spacer just locate another OE plenum. Try our MARKETPLCE!

+1 get the spacer... the new manifold only works with FI. If you search youll fine some ppl who bought the kinetix with an N/A build and said they lost power

yeah, most people on here speak before they think. the V+ is good for non-boosted engines and since it's composite it'll fight heat soak better than anything else out there. if you can get it that cheap, no reason not to. unless you're boosted, the composite can handle boost.

it will not out perform the 5/16th if that's what your saying, heat soak or not...go iso thermal if need be....that's what we're all saying

you can add the iso-thermal gasket to any setup, it goes under the lower plenum. i've seen the kinetix v+ on dyno comparisons and it has very similar gains to other spacers, the 5/16ths in particular. difference is the material, the composite WILL out perform the OEM upper plenum in keeping cool. why do you think Nissan/Infiniti switched to composite plenums for the the HR engines? would you rather have a mod that performs slightly better on a dyno or one that performs a lot better in real life? I have a MD 5/16's, it's a great mod for the money BUT if i could have a composite upper plenum for the same price i'd jump on it.

and no i'm not talking about the Kinetix v4 upper plenum, i'm specifically talking about the updated V+
