Info on VK56 swap

I know it's been done and I know there's info on it somewhere in this forum. I can't seem to find it. Doe's anyone know of someone that sells the stuff needed for swap? I'm interested in this but I know if I have to find someone to custom fabricate everything needed the price will be through the roof. I'm well aware this isn't a cheap swap but just wanted some info on it. Thanks!

No one sells all the things needed for the swap, the bellhousing adapter and flywheel can be had for around 1300 though, everything else like wiring etc and ecu isnt out yet. Check with JWT to see if they come up with anything, they are using the q45 ecu for theirs.

hmmm. why does the g have to be soo difficult?! The only swaps that you really have the resources to just order mounts, wiring and such would be for an LSx swap correct?

Yeah but in reality the vk swap should come out cheaper, its just no one has the resources for the most important part and thats ecu unless you want to run a full standalone.. Also, you had to deal with limited aftermarket support for a vk56. Whereas an LS based motor has tons of resources for most complicated tear down and rebuilds to cam installs. Its just easier and better in the long run for an ls build. Thats why Im doing it and making a chronicle of it in my own thread on here.

Yeah, I blew the motor in mine and was exploring my options. wanted something cheap for a quick fix but I want too much to have a quick fix. Are you putting in the T56 trans? I may look more seriously into an ls1 swap. cam heads a tune and maybe down the road F/I
