Picked up a set of Stances but..
So, today I picked up a set of stance coilovers. It is the true type. This came off of a 04' coupe. From what I researched, the coilovers still fit my 05' coupe. Correct? The only problem is that, he didn't have the wrenches.. I have tein wrenches and some generic ebay ones, will those work? I'll be posting pics after I install them.
one of the coilover's (front)

The rest of the coilovers in my trunk. (sorry, night shot)

Here are more pictures:

Is this right? Its like missing the built in threads. (I don't really know, this is my first set of coilovers)

Nope youre screwed, so sell them to me at a heavily discounted price!
just kidding. You'll be fine, should mount up no issues. Contact Stance for the correct wrench, no sense in ruining awesome parts with cheap ebay accessories.

No, those set the Pre-load. Loosen the bottom one then you can screw the bottom up or down to raise or lower the car.
thanks, I'll do that.
^you could try that. I used pb blaster on mine after dirt and crap made them ridiculously hard to loosen and adjust the height. Other than that, just getting a good bite with the spanner wrenches and a good pull is what it takes. Spanner wrenches suck imo, but it something we just have to deal with.
Is the spring putting too much pressure on it to turn? I doubt it would be, but if it is you can always use a spring compressor to take the pressure off. But just use some pb blaster or something and keep trying.
