I turn the car on. The AC comes on BLAST and none of the dash buttons work so I can't turn it off, at the same time the radio and none of the controls work.

I had this problem since I had the car (a month ago) but I'd usually reset the ECU by disconnecting the - Battery for about 15 mins, but today I did that and still the same problem. reset ECU for about an hour.. still nothing. So now I'm gonna leave it disconnected overnight.

I know the radio and AC are on the same circuit, but what can I do to fix this?

 

its time for a new radio! the circuit board went bad, its a common problem!

 

Is that all I need is a new radio? Can I get a new circuit board?

 

Just replace stock radio with a after market radio and your go to go. I had that same problem last summer. I Installed a kenwood tv/radio and never had problem sense. You will have to get the dash kit to do this.

Do a search for threads on DD conversion kits - basically a touch-screen system with NAV, music, and video capabilities. Its a popular option even for those who have a fully functioning radio/climate unit. There is an expansive amount of information on the forums about DD kits.

 

Just purchase a radio to your liking. Then go on eBay put in g35 metra kit, pick one that works with your car( interior color) order,instal and that's it. Real easy instal. The metra kit replaces your old climate controls and it let's instal a after market radio. I would go with dd radio(double down). It looks nicer. Have anymore questions feel free to pm me
