Cheaper Alternative to K&N?

It's made from the same cotton gaze material. Give it a shot.

I purchased a Hepa filter from ebay for my Vacuum cleaner. It's has half the price for the pair and does the job.
Sometimes you're just paying for the brand and marketing. Like the people who are still using Mobil One synthetic, and it has be proven time and time again that Castro Syntec showed less wear in the oil analysis results.
Heck, even some of the dino oil did better.

I would not risk it for a measly $15-20 more. Who knows what quality this filter is, how well it will hold up, or even how well it will filter out particles. This could potentially damage your engine if it isn't up to the right quality. Eat mcdonalds one or two times less and buy something of quality that isn't going to harm your car...
Guess people are right about this car becoming a civic....

We're rolling with Civic pimps. So sad.

Insinuating that all air filters are created equal is like saying all tires are created equal: Wuling tires from China and Bridgestone tires from Japan are made of the same kind of material, yes; but the quality of the material, engineering and design is at two wholly different levels, resulting in a different level of performance and even quality and/or safety.

Have even a vague reason why this filter should filter as well as a K&N or other somewhat reputable filter? Go ahead and buy it and risk it letting **** into your engine and causing problems down the road. Then come back and bitch about how nissan engines are crap blah blah blah.

I got a nismo filter in my air intake, it works fine, next one will be K&N.
And damn, if a 45 dollar filter is so expansive, go buy a ****ing honda.
Next time remember, just cause your car needs to use 91 oct. fuel, make sure to cheap out and put 87(I mean you won't hear engine knock, so its gotta be safe huh)

There isn't proof with the original filter because it is a POS and hasn't undergone any type of testing to prove its ability to prevent any type of particles passing into your engine. You are an idiot if you don't understand how that makes it a piece of crap.
