Varrstoen 1.1.2 +0 offset questions
Well the way they come in the mail are in oem style where the front shock/spring are 1 part and the rears come with spring off the shock..and most people besides a few converted them into true style rear where it looks like the fronts cause they ride a lot better..the rear in oem style wasn't very comfortable for my passengers but for me alone I didn't mind it..was was real rough and took bumps hard but now in true form they are amazing! The fronts have always been comfortable..but I've had mine installed for a month or a bit more and they held up great and I've taken hard hits..and even 2 hour road trips with them..they are quality parts....I've checke don them many times and no damage or anything..I have confidence in them they are great for the price..rides about like stock..your never gonna get that ride with coilovers being low or you'll cause some damage to your car if its too soft but its my daily driver with 2 other passengers and we get around great with no issues and I'm tucking tire.
I installed them all alone on a Saturday and it went perfect..no issues..fit just like oem..no gaps or movement..nice and snug.

Correct..you will spin the bottom of the rear shocks off along with the collar..and take 1 of the rubber washers it comes with and place it in first to the top of the top hat..then slide spring on..then another rubber washer..then you'll take the 2 spinning collars from the oem style metal seats and spin then on nice and tight then reinstall the spinning collar you removed from the shock and spin the bottom of the shock back on..simple as that..takes 1 minute literally!
and i agree like i have many times on the question of offset with the varrstoen wheels..+0 a big no no on stock height! even on a mild drop still big no no! if you want to go semi aggressive you have to be at a semi aggressive drop..im dropped on MDU coilovers that run $520 new shipped from ebay seller "racingfirst" in china or topspeed in TX sells them for a bit more too..they are great and have great adjustment..im only on the +12 with 245/35 front 275/30 rear and i can easily go to about -5 with my fat tires but im dropped more than OP said he wanted because of his driveway..if you want a mild drop..stay +12
once my tires wear out ill be going with 235 front 255 rear or smaller and pushing wheels out to the negatives..picture doesnt help much but just showing what height im at..irishsig already took care of the rear view width shots at his height

If it wasn't for my crazy @ss driveway I would.
That **** looks tight!
Save yourself the headache and roll the fenders.
Then you can go with either +12 or +0 offset.
Thanks Irishsig!! and GET LOWWWW..park on the street! haha jk your coupe looks great man and your more functional than i am..i scrape here and there when i have no choice but i mastered low riding 3 years ago in the DSM..but scraping a bit and parking further and walking never hurt anyone haha! and im not done yet..thats as low as i was able to go and still drive the GF and brother to work everyday..he'll be getting a car sooner or later THEN its on! no stopping me then..another inch and some spacers and ill be happy =] and im possibly getting rid of the OEM 18's so i can get a nismo front or a lip and some skirts
and to OP..whether you go +12 or +0 youll have to roll have Irishsig said! so just spend the $75 total and get it done =] and in my case my fender roll resulted in pull also so i can go wider than normal.

Good idea, just so you know what your getting yourself into here's a pic of my +22 at stock height, now picture those sticking out almost a full inch further is how a 0 offset would look. Don't take it the wrong way I'm not bustin your stones, just trying to point you in the right direction, remember you can always go more aggressive with spacers, but if you get too aggressive with your offsets you're going to be stuck with it.

What are your rim and tire specs?
