Hey guys, I am thinking about purchasing 04 g35 coupe as a daily driver and wanted to know if there is anything i should watch out for? I found 04 g35 coupe w/ 55k miles for $13k, private seller. I used to drive 06 g35 sedan and just miss the handling and sporty feel of the car. thanks.

 

sounds cheap. The only thing that needs to be considered is the trans...many people buy these with 6MT for stop and go and then complain about all of the shifting...IMHO these cars are of great value.

 

Get an 05 if possible it has a better shifting trans with rev matching and IMO a better looking interior as well as many other small details..

 

Seems rather under priced... I'd make sure the title is clean (carfax!), and be VERY thorough inspecting the body and engine bay. But if everything looks good (again be VERY thorough) that's a great buy!

Wow, I'm really pleased how our cars are holding their value. I'm not selling but being the original owner of a 44,000 mile 04 Coupe (IP with Graphite) and getting 13 or 14K would make me very happy. Thats pretty much getting 40% of the residual value of an 8 year old car. How can we go wrong with that?
