I have an 06 and just hit 60k. No oil leaks on the valve covers yet!
I did have a major oil consumption using 5w30. Thanks to a forum member recommending me to change 0w40 it has help slow down the burning of the oil.

Make sure u get some sorth of maintenance History Record! Just incase.
Like someone said wait a lil longer you might find something cheaper. I also got my car without mudguards

That price is too high with 60K miles on the clock and before you pull the trigger on this deal have a certified Nissan mechanic check her out. Service records would be a plus, the 60K mile service requires all fluids be changed and minimum price for that using Nissan fluids is + or - $400. Good Luck with this very clean coupe....

Buy mine for $8,500.

You'll see problems that I had thorough the forum. Some have been fixed, some aren't.

With 60k miles the car is a little overpriced IMO. Should be more like 14-15k

LOL. Might I recommend a Lexus or Acura? Much more reliable.

Get the 04-08 TL.

Not according to the Lexus and Acura forums!

I have an 06 6mt that had 75k miles on it and complete service record. It was in very good shape. Paid $17k, probably too much but it has the sport package which I think is worth every penny. Has 85k on it now. No mechanical problems. Has the same spoiler as the one in your link.

+1

Was considering a sedan, was gonna be a G35, TL or GS. After reading the Acurazine forum it will change your mind about the 04-08 TL's. But... probably as problematic as the G35c.

All my previous cars were Acura. Never had as much problem is my Brand New G35.

Every car has it's problem but the G has the most combined problem outs of all the cars.

It's no surprised that there are over 400 TSB's for this car.

The G is a nice looking car. That's about it.

JJ's car is one of the few where apparently every TSB is applicable.

Only if you want your transmission to go out every 30k miles or so.

Sister's TL-S had transmission replaced under warranty 3 times.

That should run you about $190 each per cover. Might as well replace the plugs while your at it. Cost at dealership for all this should be 1k or more.

Thank you for this reply. You not only convinced me not to buy one of these cars but to avoid them like the plague. In this day and time, any car that has this many problems in so few miles is a disgrace to the automobile industry no matter if it's a cheap econobox or a medium-priced car such as the G35s. I am so glad I found this out before I made the huge mistake of buying one. I would be totally pi$$ed if I had bought one and had to start re-building it that soon.

poopscood, you must be an idiot. So many people these days a completely impaired when it comes to logical and statistical thinking. First, Jibberjabbers is full of it. He got a lemon (or has destroyed a perfectly good car because he doesn't know how to drive or care for one). And if anything he tells you about a car makes sense then you've proved my point.

The truth is that virtually no one comes to a car web site to tell you that his car does not leak oil or that there are no squeaks or clicks or that the windows roll up perfectly every time. Sites like this attract the minority of people who have problems with their cars and they make a lot of noise about it and it is echoed throughout the site. Go to a BMW, Mercedes, Lexus or even Porsche web site and hear all the horror stories you want.

Anecdotes (look it up) do not reflect statistical reality. But if that's as far as you can get with your mental ability then here is an anecdote: I have 2 G35's. No significant problems. One is pushing 70k miles the other is pushing 90k. The one with 90k miles just got back from a punishing weekend at the racetrack. It performed flawlessly and I drive it to work every day.

But if folks like Jibberjabbers impress you enough to run away from Infiniti, then the same is going to happen to you when you look at every other brand. You better invest in a Moped.
