Glove box light

i bought my car bout 4 months ago and every time i drive it i noticed the glove box light on when its shut i can see it through the crack and i dont know y it stays on i tried shutting it better but no good.. also looked for switch but couldnt find it how would i make it shut off normal like on and off when you open and close the Glove box just askin for some help its my first G and still learning about it thanks

Ya it's totally normal. I noticed it after I changed my cabin air filter and I thought I f*cked something up, but then I realized its totally normal.

I think it's on whenever your headlights are on, either way don't sweat it and just ignore it

Oh Kool man thanks... How do you change your cabin air filter I didn't know it had one.. I was changing everything out to new stuff like a tune up but didn't know it had one air filter in the inside is there a manuall on how to Change it

Completely normal, but I have a question for anybody who has done a LED swap of the interior. How did you get the top glove box light bulb out.. I may have fat hands but not even a pair of pliers helps..

There's a great youtube video on how to do it. Just search for it. Very easy to find. Also, very easy to do.

I put a piece of electrical tape over the light to partially block it. Bugs the crap out of me when I'm driving at night. Even my fridge light shuts off when you close the door lol.

Nissan is just a few years behind the rest. A 1984 Corolla has the advanced technology which shuts of the light when the glove box was closed.
