quick question and opinions please (fluid stuff)

My car is a 05 coupe 5AT with 32k. I'm gonna get the trans fluid and coolant serviced.

Should I do flushes or just drain and fills. I'm gonna have the dealership do it BTW.

Thanks.

You don't need flushes with that kinda mileage on your '05 just get a drain & fill. How bout a heads up....rather than going to Infiniti take your G to Nissan. My opinion the mechanics are better trained and cost is normally 30% less....they use the same fluids! Don't forget the differential, it deserves new fluid too....

Thanks for the quick reply. Glad to hear the flush is not necessary.

I'm definitely bringing it to the Nissan dealership. I get my Frontier serviced there and had already asked them about the G. Not only did they come in at a lower price, they're also 35 miles closer than the Infiniti dealer.

Do you, or anyone know if I get it serviced at Nissan, will it show up in the Infiniti data bases when they (Infiniti) enters my VIN?
