Oil Pressure Gauge HELP!

I'm in the process of installing my turbo kit, and as we have come to set up the gauges, we dont know how to keep the stock oil pressure gauge working as well as the autometer gauge. Do I need the stock one? Any advice would be great. I'm using the AAM oil pan spacer and thought about the aux plug for the aftermarket but because its in the pan there won't be any pressure, right? Thanks, any advice would be great.

Josh

right next to the oil filter there is a round metal sensor thats the factory oil pressure sensor. you remove that and put in a T-Fitting and put the auto meter sensor in one side of the t and the factory on in the other side. that will run the auto meter and keep the factory one working properly as well. the plug in the oil pan is good for an oil temperature gauge if u are running one.

I've got the T-Fitting but I'm running my oil feed line off of it. What we ended up doing was drilling it out from the bottom, threading it and then reinforcing the t-fitting so it doesnt come out with vibration due to the added weight of another sensor.

i wouldn't really worry about it coming out or the added weight its a tapered thread and the sensor weighs barely anything. most of those fittings are made for plumbing not automotive wich is more psi that our oil and is also more weight on it from pipes so it should be fine their made for doing more than your putting it through
