Does it really matter? Do YOU mod your car or does the mechanic that you paid to install the turbo?

I had a chance to talk with Dara for a few mintues when I took the pics at SEMA. She definitely knows her stuff.

As to the car being hideous... well I definitely wouldn't have gone that way with my ride, but having a winning show car is about standing out and setting yourself apart from everyone else. She definitely does that and has the trophies to prove it.

well me personally, ive done all my work on my G, installed supercharger, suspension, stereo, etc...

that car is tacky, so is the civic, like somebody else said, that paint job would get the same result if it was on an escort, only people that dont know about cars think that crap is attractive and "cool". props for the work and all but damn, the only thing people notice about that car is the paintjob and the engine, which has nothing to do with a G, or Dara, she didnt do the engine work or paint the car. and any five-and-dime cloth shop can do suede.

I hear where you're coming from. It's cool that you have done all of your own mods. I'm good with most things technical, but when it comes to heavy mods to my car I'll leave it to the pros. The point that I was trying to make is that she knows how to win shows and keep the sponsors very happy.

I believe that her boyfriend/business partner did the paint, I forget his name. He's also done a few monster garage projects. It may not suit our tastes, but she could have never accomplished what she has with a stock paint job.

I do all my own mods as well. Wasn't bashing just asking so chill. Just can't figure how she has so many cool cars and sponsors for them. Jeesh!

Tig488, i think you should know your facts before you start blastin her. She has been in the import scene for a long time and I know along with others that she does all the work on her G35 and her other cars and gives props to the people that have helped her out.

Instead of posting garbage, know your facts.

There is even a die cast model her Civic.

Best in the West, 2nd in points, and Best Honda. With a track record like that why are you even questioning why she chose a G35 as her next project?

She even fabricated her own parts for it, come on now has anyone else done that with their G35?

I am sure some people on this forum are not too familiar with modifications, cause one guy up there asked why the blue G35 was so low to the ground.

I am not making fun, just making a point.....I know this girl, I work with her and she is an awesome person. To make lewd comments (about her) and what not is childish.

She is a hard working person and has put alot of time and energy into this car. I think anyones efforts into their cars should be rewarded to some degree. Not with hateful comments.

Peace!

Guess I have to post a smiley after every joke to avoid confusion.
