Who thinks they know what a G35 is suppose to look like...

I know we all have that vision of what a G35 really should look like.. I know i do.. I was just sittin out in my garage with the door open and it was raining, very tranquil.. then I kinda dazed out staring at my car, thinking of how to make it the "best g35" in our personal opinion/vision. I know if I can ever get some money saved up.. Ill try to achieve my vision.

So I guess Im asking yall, who thinks they have thier perfect version of a G or have already achieved it...

I know we are all not ever really completely done in moddin out Gs but your pretty much up that that "point".

I dont think I ever seen anyone ask this certain question on this forum

Everyone thinks theirs is the best. Thats all that matters. Not what other people say or trend. Its all about how personal you want to be with it. Theres always going to be haters or admirers. Its what the car says about you.

I sat stock for THREEEEEEEE years, and always had tried planning out my G. Tastes change as people try new things and you really take a look at it, and like it as well. For example, I never liked step lips in deep dish wheels, but then it took only one car with a great set up to completely change my mind. I love step lips!
And with that, I have a fairly strong idea of what my "perfect G" should look like, and started getting parts for it only recently. The past couple of weeks has drastically changed the way my car looks, and I'm having a lot of fun with it There are a few G's I've seen on this site that are so damn close to being my perfect G, but, you know, there's always that ONE little detail that they would disagree with me on xd.

I said this before on these forums, modding your G is art work. We are all working on our art to make it the best.

We've got the advantage that our car has awsm lines from the factory.

Adding to those lines-not dwarfing them is what makes the "perfect g"

Nismo simply adds a lip, giving the car a more gt series feel.

The kuruma just adds to the lines ofthe g, almost making it look like it should have come like that from the factory.

It should be said that stock the g looks great. A decent set of wheels and a drop looks amazing.

Making the car too flashy ruins it.

The perfect G35 is simply a matter of personal preference! But I'll make one statement, I can jump in SLICK this minute and drive to the right coast and back and never have a worry about alignment/suspension or tires and my AMSOIL 10W/30 would be good for the trip!

IMHO this is perfection. Eurodre's coupe with pictures by CandleStickPark. Slightly-modified OEM look FTW.

To me, Jayk's car is pretty perfect - minus CS rear, I'm not a fan of it, or any aftermarket rear for the G's for that matter. OEM + splash guards is the best. (Stealing this from your thread Jayk, sorry!)

Its all personal taste.

One man's perfect G is another man's rice G.

but imo, this comes pretty close:

It's all a matter of taste. I'm probably odd but I like the stock look. I think when it is lowered too much or has the rims that look too wide for the tires it makes the car look ghetto. Too much tint on the windows does the same thing. These are all mods you're just as likely to see on a 1992 Oldsmobile. Might as well hang fuzzy dice from the mirror.

I see just as many of these cars debadged as I do stock so that doesn't really add any individuality either.

If I were ever to do any cosmetic mods I'd simply go for a black grill and black rims. That's about it. There are lots of good looking rims out there but there is a lot of ghetto-bling out there too.

Very clean. But it would look better with 19's wheels. Very clean car though. Most G's I've seen here, I would be embarrassed to drive around in those.

I would rather drive a Camry then most if not all fixed up G's.
