Better late than never, I still think they caused themselves tens of thousands in damages in the end, and will have to work very hard(and spend a lot in marketing) to make up for the bad rap. To other dealers out there, (Like Nissan of Grapevine Preowned) pulling tricks with price on people after an agreement will get you burned, in a bad way.

Last time I bought a nissan here in Austin that was new and Round Rock Nissan, there was no tricks. I was shocked - I ask where were the tricks? They responded that these days with the internet, people will trash your rep if you don't do a straight deal - so it's not worth doing anything else.

I agree,
I'm pretty sure someone got fired after this blew up, as they should for pulling a stunt like that. Not only did they try to screw the buyer out of his car (over less than 4K) but they created a PR nightmare.
I wish there was a way to measure their actual loss due to this idiotic stunt they pulled, it would be interesting.

Someone needs to make an image of Samuel L Jackson from Pulp Fiction saying, "Reserve, mother****er, do you speak it?"

He's unable to drive the car home since he's 13 and doesn't have his license yet.

Dealer laughs then grounds him for a month.
