Blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-'a'conomy...?

I like where this forum is headed... Props to those who are still buying quality **** and keeping it classy.

ibtl and the real vs fake arguments escalate this thread is useless nobody is changing their minds and the noobs that ask the questions will probably keep doing that. Since they don't SEARCH! lol although maybe we shouldn't enable them with answers

The point I was trying to make was that there is a fine line between buying cheap stuff vs expensive stuff.

yes a lot of pricey shiit is ugly. and there are cheap things that look great.

But there is a LARGE part of the car modding community that does not mod their cars for their own desires. They'll desperately find the lowest price on the cheapest item and then expect people to be impressed by what they did.

I'm not saying everyone that is frugal with their modding has that mentality...but there are people that just want the attention.

Authentic body kits are getting harder and harder to come by...and...with replica companies making poly kits with better fitment than the authentic shiit, who wouldn't want to save money and have a better product?

With wheels and suspension parts, that is NOT the case. The cheaper something is, the bigger possibility that something will fail and either cause an accident or kill someone.

To reiterate...I would rock rep wheels again. I have NO shame in that. but I wouldn't stray much further than that. A cracked wheel can be handled better than a snapped knock-off control arm...
Sorry, my post wasn't entirely directed towards you - only the first line was.

I was saying I think your rims are pretty awesome and are $4000 well spent, and that's all there is to that.

When I say cheap, I mean it in terms of price. Of course it's not smart to get something that's cheap in quality when it could potentially kill you.

The point I'm trying to make is: cheap in price doesn't ALWAYS mean bad quality, nor does it mean it's not "classy." Not trying to make a big deal out of it since I know personally I would never buy bad quality **** and I have no sympathy for people who do buy them and end up trashing their car.

Threads like this are PRECISELY why people don't search. For every 1 informative thread, there are 3 like this. And we have to wade thru hundreds and hundreds of worthless posts/threads.

Alright, guys. Let's get real. If every new person at this point, and even some not new people but ignorant/naive people like myself, ALWAYS used search, and there weren't threads like THIS, we'd probably be bored as **** xd

Doesn't make sense either way. How can you get answers from a number?

10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,0 00,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 = MDU Coilovers G35Driver??? I don't understand.
