Lost my love over the weekend :'(

Not sure what caused it but I was taking a drive and she suddenly died so I sat there for a min as soon as I cranked her over she started to flame under the hood I tried to put it out but it was no use by the time the fire dept got there it was a total loss.

WTF...HOW

You just blew your engine and you just rebuild it and now this WTF is going on man. Was the nitrous lines hooked up and do you have a system in the car and a power wire hooked up under the hood. Did you find out what caused it to die and what caused it to catch fire. Hopefully everything will go smoothly with insurance and you can show the receipts of your build. They should help reimburse you for that since you just got that done but this is WOWZ.

that's sux

I think that's a first for a stock G.

I know there was boosted G that caught fire before, but not stock one.

I had this happen with a full custom mini truck over 20 years ago so I feel your pain, it's such an awful experience to go through as you sit there and watch it go up in flames and feel so helpless, ah man it sux, I'm so very sorry.

Hopefully you'll be back on the road soon with an even better G.

Best of Luck,
Jason

That sucks man. I would be pissed, since you just did the rebuild.
Good luck with everything.

Holy **** man.. Im almost in tears seeing this I can't imagine how you feel.

Excuse me while I attempt to pull my jaw off the floor.

I'm gonna buy a fire extinguisher now. Btw, did you open your hood? If you did, you probably doomed the car =[

It's not a first for a stock g. Don't know where this one started but the one I had started in the battery compartment.
